The Birthplace of the Knights of Columbus

Blessed Michael McGivney founded the Knights of Columbus at Saint Mary's Church in New Haven, Conn., in 1882. Today, the K of C presence at the birthplace of the Order lives on with many of the men of the parish and the New Haven community participating in charitable, fraternal, and faith formation activities run by San Salvador Council 1. Men who are practical Catholics age 18 or older are eligible for membership in the Knights of Columbus. To learn more about joining our council, click here. Vivat Jesus!
